Tere tere!!
As you probably know from last weeks letter, this past week I´ve been in Riga for Sisters Conference!
The Sisters conference was JUST what I needed! It spoke right to my
heart and I felt very loved and uplifted! It was also nice to see all
of the other Sisters in the force! What wonderful people I get to serve
with! They´re courageous, fun, loving and obedient, great examples to me
and everyone else around them!!
It was focused a lot on loving and taking care of yourself and seeing the good that we do!
Many women (myself very much included) and probably others too have
the habit of re-writing the scripture: "Love thy neighbour as thyself"
and write "Love thy neighbour instead of thyself" NOT right!
So the conference helped me regain the right focus and see that
good that we do, the good that I do!! it was a really good conference
and I am VERY grateful that we had it!
"U" is doing SWELL!! He went to the New Testament class without us
since we were in Riga. When we met with him on Saturday he said he loved
it and the Elders reported that he was very active in the lesson, so
that is really good to hear! We invited him to church but he couldn´t
come since he works on the city cleaning force and the night to
yesterday we had a big snowstorm come in and he was busy cleaning the
streets of Tartu making it possible for everyone else to walk and get to
places! ..but all in all he is progressing and doing really well! :)
He´s excited to come to the New Testament class again on Wednesday!
