Tere tere!!

BIG NEWS!! I´m back in Tartu, with a trainee!!!! Sister Tholen is fresh from the MTC, a hard working sister with a lot of faith! She´s strong, fearless and happy!
Totally different from me! :P But I can feel myself getting more confident with her, it´s fun! We are very different, I´m a girly girl and she is kind of a tom-boy, but we get along very well!! :) If I would have received a trainee who was just as I was when I got to the field, I would have been cooked ham! :P

I LOVE being back in Tartu!! It just feels like home! I loved Pärnu too but it is not Tartu. There´s something special with your first area!! With me and Õde Tholen here in Tartu are Vanemad Walker&Forsythe and Peterson&Boom. It´s a great district! :)  we have 2 trainees (Õde Tholen and Vanem Forsythe) It´s kind of crazy to think about the fact that a week ago I was the freshest missionary off of the MTC and now I´m TRAINING!! God must have a lot of growing in mind for me! ;)

So conference is just over, kind of sad! I love conference! I love the excitement and the spirit and the joy of hearing the prohpet, apostles and other leaders speak to the world, I must say that it is very different to watch it in Estonian! haha did not understand as much as I am used to! ;) But I still got a lot. I was amazed at how much it was focused on missionary work - or maybe I just noticed it more now that I´m a missionary myself? anyways what I got from the conference is:
- missionary work is VERY needed we need to help the people around us and share what we know to be true!
- we need to repent and help others do so (missionary work again)
- keep our covenants and serve our fellowbeings

To me this focus and the change of age on missionaries so that more people can go on missions are a testimony to me, that, what the scriptures testify about that will happen in the futere is happening! The future and the last dispensation is here and we are very much in the last part of that dispensation, things are happening and we have our warning right here! Take heed to it and help those around you too!!

I am so grateful for the scriptures, that I have the gospel in my life, that I have a bigger perspective and that I know that I can be with my family forever! If you don´t already know this for yourself, go pray about and get your own testimony. I know that God will answer you! If he hears and answers me he can definately hear and answer YOU!!!!

Have a wonderful week! Thanks for all of your love and support!

Armastusega,
Õde Peterson

Sister Peterson,

Thanks for you weekly, inspiring blogs. We love reading them.

Just in case you haven't heard, we recently received our call for our next mission - we will be serving in the Scotland/Ireland Mission with the Young Single Adults, and will be leaving in March.

We are so proud of you. Keep working hard and stay close to the Lord. Rebecca Heijke and Sarah Vandor came to the Swedish missionary reunion. It was so fun to see them again. They are coming for dinner on Sunday. We went to 4 reunions in 2 days! Fun! We love you!
