We start church at 2.20pm which gives plenty of time to sleep in and take it easy all morning but somehow I always forget all about time and end up being late anyways.. today I dind't want that, I wanted to be done in time and se without any stress. So I got up and got dressed and thought to myself that I wanted to do something nice for the family.. so I decided to make lunch, since both my mother and my sister Anna have callings in primary and my dad is the bishop they all have lots to do on Sunday mornings, so we usually eat a sandwich before church and then come home and make dinner. But tonight Anna and I had a fireside to attend so I thought it would be nice to eat something steady before church!
So I looked through our fridge and freezer to get some inspiration on what to make.. I saw that we had quite a lot of salmon, so I decided to do something with that! ..then I looked up some salmon recipes online and found salmon pie. Since I've never made a food pie before I decided that today was the day to try it! :) ..I only followed the recipe for the crust and how to prepare the salmon, but then I added all the other ingredients to my liking, and it turned out really well! The best pie I've ever had! :) Now I'm even afraid to make pie again, as I'm sure it won't turn out as great again!

My mom was recently called to be ward primary president and before that she'd been serving in nursery for a very short time. They still need some extra help in nursery so my mom asked me to help out there today, which I gladly did. After nursery we had sacrament meeting which was really good! ..We had a returned missionary from another ward (in our stake) come give a talk and share some experiences from his mission, it was a really good meeting!
After church Anna and I went to the fireside which was held by Bishop Koch and his wife, they talked about dating and other things, they are such a fun couple which made it a fun night!.. Now I'm off to bed to get some sleep cause somehow today I accidentally agreed to do the seminary breakfast tomorrow which means I have to get up about 2 hours earlier than I usually do, don't know what I was thinking! haha ;)
