It's been a while since I last wrote! I've now been home from my mission almost 5 months! I feel like I've been adjusting pretty well. I think one thing that has helped me a lot is teaching at the MTC. I get to help missionaries prepare to go to one of the places I LOVE so so dearly: Estonia!!
The past 2 months I've had to adjust to a different kind of life! A life in America! It's been good and I've been surrounded by good, fun, kind and loving people that have helped me feel at home! I miss my family and friends in Sweden and I feel like I was crazy to leave them after having been home for only 3 months after having first been gone for 19. BUT I feel in my heart that this is where I need to be at this time! Teaching at the MTC helps giving me a purpose and I LOVE being around missionaries and being able to speak Estonian almost daily!
Living in america is different!! Everything is big! The houses, the cars, the stores, the portions!! But also peoples hearts! I feel like I've been welcomed by loving hearts and with open arms!
Because I don't work full time and live in a college town where where everyone but me is busy, I've tried finding new hobbies and things to do. I've started drawing a little bit, people watching, it's so fun to just look at how different everyone is! I am so grateful that we are all different. It makes life so much more interesting! I've also started jogging. It is still coming along really slowly because I don't have a huge love for running, never had. But it's free, the nature is gorgeous here with the surrounding mountains and spring has arrived with beautiful weather! I don't want to be inside!!!
Life is good and I'm enjoying the spring! Hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying life!
