Tere tere - Transfer update!!

 

So I am serving in TARTU!!!! My beloved hometown here in Eesti!! :D My companion is Õde Kohler! (so nothing changed with the sisters this transfer!) Here in Tartu together with me and Õde Kohler are Vanemad Boom&Forsyth and Nielsen&Wilson. Good team!! :D

 

We had a pass-over lesson with Pille this week before Elders Hermasnen and Walker left for Tallinn. It was a good object lesson on growing our faith (putting a seed into a pot with earth and letting it grow! - the elders had prepared 4 small pots! one that they couldn´t give water, one that couldn´t have warmth, one that couldn´t have any sun or light and the last one that HAD to have water, sun and warmth! The children placed them all over the house and promised to take care of them according to the instructions! ...I could tell that PIlle and her children really had enjoyed the time when the Elders had been over so I was more than a little nervous taking over!! Saturday evening we met with them again! We followed up on the seeds and a few of them had been growing. (funny thing is that the one in the darkness had grown better than the one that had water, warmth and sunshine!) ;) Then we did some getting to know them and shared a small thought about faith. When we were about to go one of the daughters (a nine-year-old, who had been hiding under a blanket when we got there) made sure to tell her mom that she we could only come back if she was home because she wanted to be there! - So I feel like we earned their trust! :)

I just read that we´ll have a sisters conferance! It´ll be round my birthday! When I saw that I thought that that is the BEST birthday gift I could´ve ever wished for!!!!! :) I´m so excited!! :D
