Tere Tere!!
I´ve had a busy week!! Lots of lessons with members, less actives,
investigators, a trip to Tallinn where my companion had a presentation
about the church, a stay over at the Sisters in Tallinn, contacting with
them for about an hour after my companion´s presentation, volleyball
with investigators and new members and lots of other things! It´s been a
FUN week!!!
My companion is going home soon and it´s got me thinking alot!!
..For a while I´ve felt like my language skills aren´t enough, that I
don´t know enough. I guess I´ve been comparing myself and my knowledge
and experience with that of the others in my district, which is really
stupid because they have been out here much longer than me! But I´m
starting to understand more and more (thanks to Sister Christophers
reminders) that as long as I work hard everyday and study and search for
knowledge my Heavenly Father is happy with what I do, and he will help
me! The feelings of inadequacy do not come from God! And I´ve seen that
too in my life! The times that we teach and my language skills aren´t
enough, well then I´m reminded that there´s a whiteboard there where I
can draw out what I mean instead! Our investigators and members are very
patient and helpful which makes it a lot easier to open my mouth and
try!
I´ve been told before that you never feel so sad or alone as on a
mission and at the same time you never feel so blessed and like you have
so many friends as when you are on a mission. It is VERY true! But the
blessings are so big that they by far out-number the trials! I LOVE
serving here in Tartu!!! I love being on a mission and I LOVE our
investigators and members that we have in our branch!
I hope you have a great week!!
Love,
