Tere tere!!

About a week and a half ago me and Õde Christopher were contacting in the park. We met Ardi, a man in his 50's I'd guess. He didn't have time to talk at that time but he gave us his number, email and address. A few days later we called him up and set up an appointment to meet on the tuesday. On tuesday we didn't meet because of miscommunications but set up an appointment to meet on wednseday instead. He came and we taught together with a member. She too has been on a mission (about 15 years ago and things were very different then!!), she was a great help!! ..We taught Ardi about the Restoration, then we invited him to read the Book of Mormon and to pray everyday.  To specifically pray to get an answer about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. He agreed to do so and we invited him to get baptized when he comes to know the truth of these things. He said that he would. We then asked him if he would prepare himself to get baptized on the 28th of September which he said he would!!!! WE have a baptismal date, my FIRST!! :D :D :D I'm so excited!! We taught him again on  Saturday, this time with another member! It went well and he had read the things we had asked him to read! :) We then invited him to come to church on Sunday. He said that he didn't know if he could, he would know first on Tuesday when his schedule would come.. Sister Christopher and I were very confused about this comment, but sister Christopher asked again if he would like to come to church on Sunday (which would be the day after) He said he might be able to some of the days but didn't know about all! We didn't understand what he ment but realized after a while that he thought church was every day at 11. We clarifyed that church is only on Sundays! He then said "oh well then I can definately do that!" ..funny little misunderstanding! ;)  ..Ardi came to church and he stayed for ALL three hours!! He aslo said he would come next Sunday! :)  He'll call us tomorrow after he recieves his schedule to set up an appoinment to teach him this week! it's all really exciting! :)

Over and out for this time ;)

Have a great week!!

Love,
Õde Peterson
