Tere tere!!!
Yesterday we were visited by Yashihiko Kicuchi,
(emeritus seventy) he talked about the importance of being exactly
obedient! If we need to get up at 6.30, get up at 6.29 to show the Lord
that you are willing to make some sacrifices and if you so do you will
be greatly blessed and you will have success. I can testify that this is
true and remember: if you almost keep the commandments you will almost
be blessed! ;)
..On this coming Monday morning, bright and early, me
and my companions will head over to the travel office to leave the MTC
and head off to new mysterious adventures in the field! I feel a little
scared and I feel like my knowledge of estonian is far from sufficient
but I carry with me these words in my heart saying: .."for behold, ye
are they whom I have chosen to minister unto my people.." (3 Ne 13.25)
- God has called me knowing exactly who I am with my strengths and
weaknesses. He wants ME to serve in Estonia. That is good enough for me!
He knows what I can become and if I trust him I'll be able to become
what he has planned! If I trust him and put him first all other things
will be taken care of!
It's the same for all of us! God has a plan for us. If
we trust him we will be ok! we will have a good life! ..At times
life WILL be hard, but that's only to help pushing us to become a little
better! How else do we get stronger if we don't experience a little
resistance every now and then?
...Today it's 4th of July and we will celebrate it here
tonight! we will not only celebrate the american independence day but
also celebrate all nationalities and so I've been asked to carry the
swedish flag! Let's just hope my arms are strong enough to hold it and
that I don't trip in the stairs and start a domino effect or roll down
the stairs! ;)
Happy 4th of july and enjoy your summer!!
Ma armastan teid!
Hugs,
Õde Peterson
