Second week at the MTC!

Tere, tere!
This week has been soooooooooooooooooooooo much better! I've felt like I've been walking on clouds! The language is still tough.. yesterday we had a teach and we walked in and I had a paper with a few notes on just in case, my scriptures and everything else you need when you teach.. when I came into the room I realised I had forgotten my notes but strangely enough I managed to say what I felt I needed to say even though it was far from conjugated correctly and it was very much in a caveman language! :) "I know..when I pray.. God answer... I know.. YOU pray.. God answer!" anyways.. the spirit has been very strong and everyday I feel like I get the opportunity to become a better version of Ode Peterson! I still have a lot to learn, but I'm getting there, if yet slowly!

Last sunday we had really good meetings and during the sacramentmeeting a few people shared their testimonies about eternal families and I could really feel how greatful I am that I have the knowledge that I can be together with my family forever! ..as we sang the clsoing hymn "Closer My God to Thee" (which was sung at my grandparents funeral) I could really feel their love for me! It was an overwhelmiong feeling as if they where sitting on each side of me and whispered in my ears that they loved me and they were proud of my choice to go on a mission! I couldn't continue singing, I was too emotional, but that was an answer to my prayers! I had been a little sad that they I can't talk to them and share my experiences with them, but they showed me that they are right here beside me and they're following my journey and are supporting me from the other side!

..Yesterday we had an apostle come and talk to us at the Tuesday devotionals.. it was Elder D Todd Christofferson and also his wife. She talked about the importance of loving the people we are going to serve. That it is important to "look at them as if they were our families" ..Elder Christofferson said that the 15 (first presidency and the 12 apostles) can't do the work on their own, so they look to the eight quorums of the seventy, but even that is not enough! "Will you join us?" ..It was really special to have one of the Lord's apostles speak to us!!

Today is ETTEVALMISTUSPÄEV!! (preparationday) ... SO nice! .. I'll enjoy the sun, do some laundry and just relax a little bit and have a good time with my companions!

Ma tean et Jumal elab, jah tema elab meid!!

Have a great week and MA ARMASTAN TEIE!!!!

xoxo
