On Friday afternoon my Uncle Lelle and his wife Kerstin and their son, my cousin Mattias came and picked up my Mom and I. We drove to Nynäshamn (about 40 minutes from where I live) and took the ferry over to Gotland. We arrived pretty late and went almost straight to bed when we got Lasse’s place.
Most of Saturday morning and afternoon was spent preparing for the party, decorating a little, putting out extra chairs and tables, cooking food etc. We all helped preparing the food, by cutting vegetables, cheese, whipping eggs and doing what we could and then my cousin Jakob’s friend Viktor (who works as a chef,) made the dinner! All guests arrived around 5 and then we had a delicious meal and a great night!
Sunday morning we went to visit some older relatives (the parents of my Uncle’s wife). Mom and I left early and went to church. After church we went back to my uncle’s place and had lunch and then we went down to the city of Visby to walk around and take pictures. We also got to see my cousin Jakob and Emma´s apartments. Loved it. It was a great day! The sun was shining, the trees had lots of different BEAUTIFUL colors and I had fun with my cousins and my mom!
Monday (today) we woke up, had breakfast and then we went to the Lummelunda caves (didn’t go in just went to the area and walked around a bit! ..It was a beautiful day!! Then we went back to my Uncle Lasse’s place and had some lunch and after lunch we has some brownie with whipped cream in front of the fireplace.. it was SO nice!! Then, unfortunately, it was time to go home, so mom and I took the ferry back home! ..It’s been a GREAT weekend! I just LOVE to spend time with family! <3

It looks like you had a great time, there is nothing better than spending time and making good memories with family:) Gotland looks beautiful too!
