Blog entry from the flight!
So here I am, on the plane on my way to visit Thomas and Lisa! :D I’m soo excited, but I kind of wish the flight would be a little shorter :P ..we’ve already been in the air for about 2 1/2 hours and my legs are already aching! ..I want to go for a jog! :P ...so I’ve got about 6 1/2 more hours on the plane, plenty of time to write on my literature essay, but boy is it tempting not to! ..every time pick up my book to start reading I start to drift of to sleep, NOT good! :P ...I’m gonna make a new try with the book now!
Still on the plane:
..I’m back.. Reading went ok.. I’ve read the text twice and now I’m looking up the words I don’t understand, when I’m done with that I’ll have to read the text again and then I’ll have to start writing my essay! ..We are now flying over North American and flying in towards chicago ..we probably have about an hour and a half, but that’s way better than 9 hours!! Gotta go, their serving snacks soon!
Chicago Airport 3.34pm:
Me again! ..I’m now at the Chicago Airport, waiting for my flight!.. I’ve got another hour before boarding starts, so I should probably study! ...I’m starting to get a bit tired, which isn’t that weird considering it’s 9.30 at home but I’ve got AT LEAST 7-8 more hours to go before I can sleep! :P ..not that it will be a problem staying awake once I get to SLC and get to meet Thomas and Lisa! I’m SOOOOO excited!!! ..ok so back to homework so I can let myself enjoy the night and have fun tonight!
On the flight between Chicago and Salt Lake City:
No more writing or studying today! ..I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes open much less write an essay! ..at least I’ve node some brainstorming, read the text a few times and started on the essay, now ”all” I have to do is to finnish it haha! ...so the captain just told us something about flying about over Denver Colorado now and that we’ll probably get to SLC in about an hour! ..this has been a really LONG day! I just want to get off this plane now! I’m tired and my stomach hurts real badly (it always does when I fly, at least the long flights!) ...oh yeah I forgot to tell you! this morning I almost missed the flight, or at least it felt like that could have happened! ..I had asked my dad to drive me to the airport which he agreed to do!.. He told me that there’d be a lot of traffic since it’s monday morning so I had to be ready to leave the house at 7.15.. which I wasn’t :S ..we probably left the house 10-15 minutes later than planned.. when driving to the airport from where I live you have to drive by Stockholm city and it’s always crowded there in the morning and especially today! It took FOREVER to get through and once we finally got through we noticed that there’d been an accident, which had caused the delay. ..and because of the delay the car ran out of gas, so we had to go fill up the tank, so eventually when I got to the airport it was just one hour left before the plane was supposed leave Sweden! ..I checked in but had to stand in a LONG line to get to the baggage claim, STUPID.. haha but I got through it and I made it to the plane on time, wohoo!! :D
Still on the plane about half an hour away:
I was listening to a clip where you get to hear the prophet bear his testimony and the hymn ”Praise to the Man” is sung by the Tabernacle Choir. I felt the spirit! A strong feeling of happiness came over me as I realized that soon I’ll be in the same city as the Prophet! What great joy! :D
